Don&#8217;t overpromise and underdeliver. (But <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wyliecomm.com\/2022\/08\/email-readability\/\">don&#8217;t underdeliver and overpromise<\/a>, either.)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Don&#8217;t omit details<\/strong>. Don&#8217;t make recipients search for the price, for instance.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Don&#8217;t make them click<\/strong>. Don&#8217;t use email newsletters to drive clicks. Use them to deliver value. And put that value right there, in the newsletter.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Don&#8217;t cut off midsentence<\/strong>. Subscribers see that as a way to force clicks.<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Make links clear\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wyliecomm.com\/writing-tips\/micro-content\/link-writing\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Make links clear<\/strong><\/a>. If recipients must click to read, be very clear about what they&#8217;ll get if they do click.
